How can I make a difference?

Your voice can help to shape services for special needs children and young people and their families within Lancashire so that their long-term outcomes are better. Through your forum you can give your views on topics such as short breaks and health in a range of different ways such as coming to a meeting, completing a survey or questionnaire, or by filling in the “Have your say” form on this website. You can take part in the formal consultations that the County Council uses to make decisions about what they provide and how they provide it or contribute to Government surveys on the things that affect you and your child. You will have opportunity to become part of the working groups which look at what parents want and make recommendations to the decision makers, and you will have the support from other parents to enable you to do this. This is called “participation”.

Through participation we come together to make a difference for our families. Together we are stronger, together we are better,

together we can slogan
